Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 May 2026
DueDili is operated by Alpine Code (ABN 83 774 179 276). By using the DueDili website or the LotAPI ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
DueDili provides address intelligence reports and a REST API that aggregates publicly available data from Australian government sources. The Service is currently in beta and is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future with reasonable notice.
2. Not professional advice
The Service does not constitute legal, financial, property, planning, environmental, or any other form of professional advice. DueDili does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), a real estate licence, or any professional advisory licence. You should always verify information with the relevant government authority and consult qualified professionals before making property, investment, or planning decisions.
3. How we make money
DueDili does not receive commissions, referral fees, or payments from any government agency, real estate agent, or third party. The Service is currently free during beta. Future revenue will come from paid API subscriptions.
4. Accounts and API keys
There are two ways to access the Service:
- Website accounts— created via email and password through our signup page. Your password is handled by AWS Cognito and is never stored by DueDili directly.
- API keys— generated from your account dashboard for programmatic access. Keys are hashed before storage and cannot be retrieved after initial display.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and API key.
- Do not share your API key. Keys are personal and non-transferable.
- We may suspend accounts or revoke keys used in violation of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent them.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute the underlying datasets.
- Misrepresent data from the Service as your own original research.
- Use automated tools to create multiple accounts to avoid rate limits.
6. Data accuracy
The data provided through DueDili is sourced from publicly available government databases and is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we make reasonable efforts to keep data current and accurate:
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data.
- Data may be outdated, incomplete, or contain errors from upstream sources.
- Not all data points are available for every address or council area.
- Always verify critical information with the relevant government authority before making decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), Alpine Code and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses from reliance on data accuracy.
8. Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime or availability. During the beta period, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service without notice.
9. Intellectual property
The underlying government data is publicly available under their respective licences. Our value-add — aggregation, normalisation, spatial processing, and API delivery — is the intellectual property of Alpine Code, protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). You may use API responses in your own applications but may not resell the raw API service.
10. Age restriction
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
